Lonestar Builders is a commercial real estate development and construction company
specializing in car washes and multifamily housing throughout Utah, Colorado, California,
The RoleWe are seeking a talented Estimator who can accurately read plans, prepare comprehensive
cost estimates, and contribute to the success of our construction projects. This individual
will play a key role in budgeting, bidding, and vendor negotiations, while ensuring efficiency
in every stage of the construction process.
What You’ll Do- Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing and assemble project budgets
- Break down construction drawings and quantify all required items
- Perform material take-offs for all scopes of work
- Contract and negotiate scope/pricing with subcontractors
- Utilize Excel, Bluebeam, Word, and project management software to streamline work
- Support project leadership and accounts payable teams with accurate estimates
- 3+ years estimating experience (preferred) OR relevant construction industry background
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and data-entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software
- Excellent written, oral, and negotiation skills
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
- Open to entry-level candidates eager to grow
- Competitive Pay: $65,000 – $80,000 annually
