Superintendent, Construction

This is a full-time, on-site Excavation Superintendent with a strong background in underground utilities and pipe installation for Salt Lake County and Utah County and surrounding areas. The Superintendent will oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction projects, coordinate with team members and subcontractors, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain the highest safety and quality standards.

This role is responsible for managing field operations on commercial excavation and sitework projects, with a focus on water, sewer, and storm drain systems. The role requires effective leadership and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution from start to finish, including adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets.

• Proven experience in Construction Management, Project Management, and Site Supervision in Excavation and Utilities
• Knowledge of Construction Plans, Scheduling, and Site Safety Practices
• Ability to shoot grade and manage layout, reliable, accountable and takes ownership of the job
• Strong background in pipework (water, sewer, storm drain)
• Strong Leadership, Team Management, and Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Problem-Solving and Decision-Making in time-sensitive situations
• Ability to Manage Budgets, Resources, and Subcontractor Relationships
• Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards
• Experience in excavation or heavy civil construction is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or technical training are a plus
• Valid driver's license
