Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive construction projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and ensures that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Apex Contracting’s quality standards.

• Project Leadership:
  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all phases meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Planning & Scheduling:
  Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage resources effectively.
• Financial Oversight:
  Monitor budgets, review cost reports, and identify opportunities for savings while maintaining quality.
• Client Relations:
  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong partnerships through clear communication and problem-solving.

  Lead and mentor field staff, superintendents, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure strict adherence to all building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate project records, RFI logs, submittals, and change orders.

• Must be based in or able to travel to one of the following states:
  California, Texas, Florida, Colorado, or Utah.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of proven experience in construction project management (commercial or multifamily projects a plus).
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling software, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines under pressure.
• Certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.
