Welby Elementary Multiple positions available:
- We are looking for a Classroom Assistant dedicated to student success. You will be responsible for reinforcing lesson concepts through one-on-one and small group work, while also assisting with classroom management and supervision. The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping students overcome academic challenges and build confidence in their abilities. 25 hours per week.
- We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Walk to Read Assistant to join our Welby Elementary School team. In this part-time, 17-hour-per-week position, you will work directly with small groups of students to provide targeted reading intervention strategies that foster literacy growth. We are looking for a candidate who genuinely loves working with children and is passionate about helping them become successful, confident readers.

Effective July 1, 2025
Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.53/Hour) Not Highly Qualified
Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.51/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.55/Hour) Current/Former Licensed Teacher
