Job Overview
ESP – Special Education / Instructional Assistant – Mild/Mod I PT at Eastlake Elementary. Start date School Year. Working days Monday-Thursday 10:00‑3:30 and Friday 9:00‑1:00.
Responsibilities- Work with the Resource Teacher to support students with mild/moderate special education needs.
- Attend and complete a 5‑hour Basic Training program provided by the JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire.
- Participate in additional training offered by the Special Education Department to qualify for lane 4.
- Effective July 1, 2026 – Lane 3, Step 1 at $19.94 per hour.
- Salary schedule details available via the JSD system.
Basic training completion; willingness to learn. No further qualifications specified.
