Position Available: Garfield County School District is seeking applications for an FFA Assistant Advisor to support our Agricultural Education program at Bryce Valley High School in Tropic, Utah beginning with the school year. This part‑time, extracurricular position. Hours vary throughout the school year depending on chapter activities, competitions and events.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the FFA Advisor with coordinating chapter activities and events.
- Support students participating in leadership conferences, career development events, leadership development events, and livestock shows.
- Assist with supervising students during meetings, practices, competitions, and travel.
- Encourage student leadership, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
- Promote a positive and inclusive FFA chapter culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the FFA Advisor or school administration.
Stipend will be paid after all the FFA duties have been completed for the school year.
QualificationsApplicants must satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
