Garfield County School District is hiring a part-time para-professional for our student support classes at Panguitch High School. This position will begin with the school year and will receive no benefits.
SALARYBeginning Para-Professional hourly rate according to Garfield County School District Classified Salary Schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor student attendance and other attendance issues
- Facilitate a study hour for concurrent enrollment students
- Monitor, mentor, tutor at-risk students
- Monitor, mentor, tutor GAP (Garfield Alternative Program) students
- Monitor and facilitate credit recovery program and students
- PBIS/MTSS (mental health support/multi-tier support system)
- Monitor progress/performance of student population in general
- Work closely with School Counselor
Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma and two years of college education or may complete the Para Pro Test to become highly qualified. Applicants must be fingerprinted and satisfactorily pass an employment background check.
