504 Esp Aide
We are seeking a caring, dependable 504 ESP to support a student who uses a wheelchair throughout the school day. The aide will assist with transitions, mobility, personal care, and daily routines while helping the student access instruction and activities alongside peers always supporting independence, dignity, and privacy. The ideal candidate is patient, kind, calm, and reliable, with a genuine love for children and a dedication to helping every student succeed.
Training is provided. Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment. Additional training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 4 upon completion. Salary schedules effective July 1, 2026 Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour)
