Debug Engineer – Manufacturing

The Debug Engineer supports manufacturing operations by diagnosing and resolving hardware failures occurring on the production line. This role is critical to ensuring product quality and reliability through detailed failure analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective actions. The position works closely with contract manufacturers, technicians, and R&D engineering teams to prevent repeat failures and support production continuity.

Schedule: Day shift (may start slightly earlier or later based on production needs)

• Lead failure analysis for hardware and board‑level issues identified on the production floor
• Perform root cause analysis and define corrective and preventive actions
• Support debugging activities at contract manufacturing sites
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to trace failures back through design, validation, or process gaps
• Support and train technicians on debug methods and corrective actions
• Analyze failures from production and validation environments to improve long‑term reliability
• Follow production schedules and support day‑to‑day manufacturing needs

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in hardware debugging, failure analysis, or manufacturing engineering
• Strong experience with electronic failure analysis and board‑level debugging
• Understanding of hardware components, validation processes, and production test failures
• Experience working with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with manufacturing and R&D teams
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Self‑driven with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced production environment
