Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 at home after 90 days.

Background – The TeamBrokerage US Tax Operations is a cross‑divisional operational utility that supports Retail, Institutional, and Corporate business lines. It ensures compliance with IRS & State regulations related to U.S. tax withholding, reporting, and filing obligations for brokerage clients and legal entities. The team works closely with senior BU representatives, operations colleagues, and client representatives to deliver timely client service.
Background – The PositionUS Tax Operations is seeking an experienced individual to support the brokerage’s Tax Documentation team. This role presents challenging opportunities due to high regulatory risk, high volume, tight deadlines, and a demanding client base. It requires strong organization, process, and people‑management skills, as well as excellent troubleshooting, execution, and written and verbal communication.
Primary Responsibilities- Triage and resolve client/stakeholder queries related to documentation, allocation statements, changes in circumstance, U.S. indicia, and reporting.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Business Units and external partners (e.g., Syndicated Loan Ops, FX Ops, Client Reference Data Ops, Tax Technology, Tax Compliance) to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
- Contribute to strategic projects by documenting Business Requirements Documents and participating in testing.
- Prepare and present findings on key risk and process metrics, and recommend solutions to reduce risk, build capacity, and improve client service.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, take ownership of complex issues, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication: articulate and accelerate issues and corrective actions to senior management.
- Familiarity with U.S. tax operations and documentation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
- High attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage a dedicated tax documentation team in a complex, dynamic environment.
