The advancement and delivery of top-notch, effective healthcare education is at the heart of what we do! Your sound ability to work with various web platforms and optimize usage will support our efforts to attract and enroll students to the University. This is a full-time, onsite position in Provo, Utah. Remote work is not available.

- Maintain, tune, and improve the web stack, including software and services such as Cloudflare, AWS, WHM/cPanel, Cloud Linux, Lite Speed, MySQL/MariaDB
- Perform system upgrades
- Manage backup and recovery
- Monitor servers and manage capacity planning
- Security Hardening and Intrusion Detection
- Maintain numerous Word Press installs with various plugins and customization
- Apply optimization and web tuning best practices
- Integrate platforms, including social, advertising, CRM, productivity, etc.
- Write custom scripts using JavaScript, PHP, and other scripting languages
- Monitor and improve Cache-management
- Tune for optimal speed and performance
- Design workflows and integrate various web and cloud-based applications
- Troubleshoot technical issues with platforms
- Automate tasks
- Conduct version management
- Develop and maintain system security standards
- Assess technical resources to meet organizational needs
- Build, test, and maintain data pipelines and architectures
- Optimize user reporting using Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.
- Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
- Create new data validation methods and data analysis reports
- Maintain compliance with data governance and security policies
- Ensure staff understand and are proficient in using the myriads of software systems
- Provide insight into best practices for the use of software systems.
- Help create Standard Operating Procedures that ensure accuracy, performance, and consistency
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer information systems, computer science, or a related field of study is preferred.
- Proficiency in web server management, Word Press, scripting languages, flowcharts, databases, MS Office Suite, and e-mail is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in web systems engineering, web systems administration, cloud engineering, or equivalent is required.
