Job TitleDev Ops Platform Engineer
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Dev Sec Ops engineer to accelerate the development of critical tools for digital citizens and mission workers.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Dev Sec Ops engineer you will streamline the software development lifecycle, incorporate open‑source tools, automation, and cloud resources, implement continuous integration and delivery, and design and develop Dev Ops pipelines using Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS Code Deploy. You will use state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools to monitor web application errors and analyze application behavior through code and log analysis.
Qualifications- 2+ years in Infrastructure, Dev Ops, or Site Reliability Engineering
- 2+ years deploying containerized applications
- 2+ years with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Agile methods
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III Certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience with AI/ML/LLM implementations
- Experience with AI/ML/LLM security such as Hidden Layer
- Experience automating, monitoring & troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production
- Experience with Git Ops tooling including Flux or Argo CD and Kustomize
- Experience implementing Cloud‑Native solutions to accelerate application development
- Experience with identity authentication & authorization (SAML, OpenID, SSO)
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
- Advanced CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering degree
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification
Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must obtain Secret clearance.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $62,000 to $141,000 annually (USD). Comprehensive benefits include medical, life, disability, retirement, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for benefit programs.
Work Model- Remote:
May require occasional in‑person work. - Hybrid:
Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility and sometimes at customer sites. - On‑site:
Work primarily at Booz Allen or customer facility.
