    Part‑time, at least 20 hours per week (7:30 am–4:00 pm, Mon‑Fri)
  • Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary

This part‑time position focuses on C# and minor SQL/database programming on custom projects within Financial Services. Additional duties include web‑page maintenance and design for Financial Services web pages, customer service, and desktop support for faculty, staff, and students via phone, e‑mail, chat, walk‑in, and on‑site visits. The role operates within a team of technical staff with varying programming and administrative experience and is scheduled to align with students’ class times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C# applications.

• Write and manage SQL/database code.

• Perform web‑page maintenance and design tasks.

• Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.

• Conduct computer desktop support and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with other technical staff to meet service demands.

Required Qualifications
  • Current Weber State University student.
  • Experience programming in C# (classroom or professional).
  • Experience with computer setup and maintenance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of computer and account issues.
  • Willingness to learn from written and oral instructions.
  • Experience with web page creation and design is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Visual Studio experience.
  • Additional C# programming experience.
  • Past customer service experience.
  • Excellent computer troubleshooting skills.
  • Graphic design experience.
  • Database programming knowledge.
Physical and Visual Requirements
  • Medium physical work: occasional lifting up to 50 lb, frequent lifting up to 30 lb, constant lifting up to 10 lb.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform tasks with accuracy and neatness.
  • No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
