Job Title
Works in a semiconductor cleanroom environment to manufacture microchip devices on silicon wafers.
Summary Of DutiesMaintains safety standards in area. Keeps multiple semi-automated machines consistently running to keep product processing correctly. Uses judgement to identify any product concerns during processing. Performs basic disposition of non-conforming material. Keeps workstations loaded. Keeps up to date with training. Follows procedures set forth in semiconductor wafer processing. Runs a wide variety of machines in cleanroom. Retains training and works with limited supervision.
Measures and records key parameters, both electrical and physical at wafer and die level. Accurately records and enters data. Makes reasonable judgements and escalates concerns to engineering. Performs simple testing on equipment and processes. Ensures the correct setup of equipment. Checks equipment and process parameters. Works in a small team setting or as an individual. Performs a variety of other tasks and related work, as required.
Physical/Environmental Demands
Lifting -- not to exceed 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School Diploma. Less than 1 year of relevant work experience. Experience working in a tightly controlled manufacturing environment, working with chemicals and both manual and automated machinery.
Preferred QualificationsAssociates degree with classes in microfabrication, nanotechnology or engineering. Experience working in semiconductor industry.
