POSITION SUMMARY

Corporate Engagement & Grants Manager (CEGM) cultivates individual and corporate investments in UWSL through year-round management of workplace giving campaigns, corporate gifts/grants and sponsorship, as well as coordinating corporate volunteers to support community-wide UWSL and Promise Partnership events. The CEGM will work as a part of the Corporate Engagement Team to increase revenue from all aspects of corporate partnership by finding deeper alignment with corporate philanthropic values and further positioning UWSL as experts in community investment and employee engagement.

PRIMARY TASKS

Manage logistics of 65+ workplace giving campaigns, including coaching employee campaign managers, coordinating schedules, presentations, and communications, and managing processing systems and reporting. Additionally, own and manage a portfolio of corporate grant opportunities from initial prospect development and cultivation through application, award management, stewardship, reporting, and renewal. Maintain funder relationships, track deadlines and deliverables, and ensure each opportunity is managed strategically throughout the full grant lifecycle.

Deepen corporate partnerships by aligning corporate philanthropic dollars with UWSL priorities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Employee Workplace Engagement:
Giving Campaigns & Volunteerism

Lead and oversee workplace giving campaigns for a portfolio of corporate partners (65+ companies each requiring different levels of support by articulating UWSL’s mission and vision through strategic workplace presentations and individual engagement.

Own the end-to-end project management of workplace giving campaigns, including planning, execution, data collection, reporting, performance evaluation, and the development of recommendations to improve campaign outcomes.

Analyze, research and share campaign data with individual engagement team members to support donor recruitment strategies and the transition of campaign donors into long-term United Way of Salt Lake supporters.

Collaborate with internal engagement teams to align workplace campaigns with broader giving, volunteerism, and sponsorship strategies, ensuring a cohesive corporate partner experience.

Serve as a liaison for corporate partners and Employee Campaign Managers (ECMs) regarding corporate volunteer engagement opportunities, leveraging established relationships to connect partners with the Director, Volunteer Engagement for volunteer planning and execution.

Coordinate with the Director and Manager of Volunteer Engagement and Promise Partnership team to support corporate donation drives and in-kind efforts that benefit UWSL community schools and partners and support the implementation of corporate volunteer engagement events.
