Oncology Nurse We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to patients receiving treatment for cancer and related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after treatments.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, medications, and other treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects, adverse reactions, and changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and supportive care.
- Provide pain management and coordinate care with oncologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow medication safety and infection prevention standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- ONS/ONCC chemotherapy and biotherapy certification preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous oncology, infusion, or chemotherapy nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, medication safety, communication, and patient-care skills.
