Associate Manager​/Shift Lead - Salt Lake & Utah Counties

Beaches Tanning Center of Utah and Salt Lake Counties is hiring a full‑time Associate Manager. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys mentoring and teaching others and is goal‑oriented.

Compensation: Average pay $20–26 per hour plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.

The Associate Manager primarily supports the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean facility, and driving high sales performance.

Evening and weekend availability required.

Scheduling is rotated between staff.

• Support the Assistant and Store Manager in cleaning, training, customer service, and other assigned tasks.
• Resolve or elevate customer service issues promptly.
• Support marketing efforts with approved language and visuals.
• Set and follow up on shift goals, coaching associates on sales expectations.
• Maintain strong sales performance and lead by example.
• Report employee issues such as tardiness, dress code, and unprofessional behavior to upper management.
• Attend and assist in delivering corporate content in company meetings.
• Help prepare for store meetings and conduct training segments when required.
• Cover uncovered shifts, including weekends, holidays, or days off.
• Monitor traffic to determine staffing needs and notify Store Manager when overstaffed.
• Conduct bi‑monthly inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Attend weekly management meetings to review operations and strategy.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness and daily chores.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic grammar, math, and computer skills.
• 1 year of shift lead/keyholder/supervisor experience or at least 6 months with Beaches employment.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work 30 hours per week, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical demands: constant moving, standing, talking, hearing, reaching, bending up to 8 hours at a time.
