Sales Associate - Salt Lake

Beaches Tanning Center of Utah and Salt Lake Counties is hiring part-time or full-time Sales Associates.

Sales Associates average $19–$25/hr base pay plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.

As a Sales Associate, you will sell products, provide customer service, hit sales goals and maintain store cleanliness.

• Support store management in overall performance and appearance.
• Greet customers, respond to questions, improve engagement with products and services, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Guide new customers with a salon tour and offer memberships, packages, and products.
• Help customers make selections by building rapport and offering suggestions.
• Demonstrate strong product and equipment knowledge.
• Hit monthly personal goals and go the extra mile to increase store sales.
• Keep clientele informed about promotions and potential merchandise of interest.
• Process POS purchases, document and update customer profiles, and maintain records to comply with health department requirements.
• Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness, perform daily chores and weekly deep cleans of assigned rooms.
• Attend monthly store meetings (held on Sundays).
• Report maintenance issues.

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer‑service practices; sell to the needs of the customer.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• High energy level, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

• Positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical ability to move, stand, talk, hear, reach, and bend for up to 8 hrs per shift.
• Proficient verbal and written English.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use POS system.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Available for flexible shifts.
• 3+ months of related retail experience preferred.

• Two days of corporate new‑hire training in American Fork.
