Overview

Opening available for Lead Software Engineer at Cotiviti, Inc. in South Jordan, UT:

• Lead the design implementation, testing and maintenance of our innovative software products.
• Mentor fellow Software Engineers in extending existing systems and components as the business grows.
• Guide teams in the development of new subsystems and expand the current system with new components and modules.
• Lead design, development and documentation of the software components using established practices.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Employer will accept foreign equivalent education evaluated as the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree in lieu of a U.S. bachelor's degree.

• Six (6) years of post‑degree experience as a software engineer.
• Five (5) years of experience applying advanced knowledge in Java Enterprise Programming.
• Five (5) years of experience working with software development lifecycle.
• Five (5) years of experience writing custom SQL queries.
• Five (5) years of experience in sustaining engineering.
• Five (5) years of experience in software development and maintenance.
• Five (5) years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Five (5) years of experience working with Agile development practices.

Base compensation ranges from at least $161,452. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
