Forklift Operator

Position Summary

First Shift (1st) Forklift Operator responsible for moving stock, loading and unloading shipments, preparing items for outbound shipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Operates sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts and may interact with SAP and Surgere systems.

Work schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00am–4:30pm. Pay: $21.00 per hour, with incentives including a $1 mining premium, monthly/quarterly attendance rewards, and wage increases at 6, 12, 24, and 36 months.

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment 80% of the shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of items are loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift‑training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Six months warehouse experience (preferred).
• Six months forklift operation experience.

Excellent computer skills and a minimum of 6 months experience on sit‑down/stand‑up forklifts.
