Construction Project Manager – Solar Energy Services - Contract-to-hire

** You can live anywhere in the United States to accept this position. This is a 100% travel position for a project lasting anywhere between 3 and 18 months. The contract of employment will last about 6 months before converting to a permanent position.**

This role focuses on commercial energy services projects for large clients, offering strong ownership, autonomy, and growth opportunities.

• Manage commercial energy services projects from planning through completion
• Own project schedules, budgets, and financial performance
• Coordinate across engineering, construction, operations, and finance teams
• Communicate project updates, risks, and results to clients and leadership
• Lead project teams and oversee subcontractors as needed
• Support project risk reviews and continuous improvement efforts

• 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial construction
• Experience in solar energy services
• Strong financial skills, including budgeting and forecasting
• Experience working with a General Contractor or major mechanical subcontractor
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Construction financial systems (Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as PE, LEED, CEM, CPM are a plus
