Position Summary
Manager, Scrum Master to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions in the CVS Pharmacy Inc. team, based in Woonsocket, RI. The role focuses on delivering efficient technical software solutions and collaborating across product, UX, engineer and stakeholder teams.
ResponsibilitiesPartner and collaborate with product and user experience teams to develop elegant code, responsive customer experiences, and industry‑leading digital experiences. Partner with application owners, business partners and peer groups to define long‑ and short‑range technical solutions aligning with business requirements. Review functional and design documentation to ensure complete understanding of project deliverables, identify testing requirements, map specifications, and design test coverage plans.
Participate in Program Increment planning meetings and establish face‑to‑face communication across all team and product owners. Plan and guide technology projects, serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Direct product analysis to understand environmental influences and incorporate findings into product road‑map and strategy. Operate as a subject‑matter expert translating data points and business processes, understanding data patterns, identifying defects, and implementing technical projects on schedule.
Conduct fact‑finding and independent research to design progressive technology solutions for software issues. Conduct business impact analysis of system defects, control/audit deficiencies, outages, and enhancements. Lead the BRM function to manage project teams, analyzing impacts for consideration of requirements or errors and providing direction on adjudication setups and solutions to configuration and quality mitigation. Write business requirements as packages and user stories;
review test cases, production implementation, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting‑edge technology solutions. Create robust test plans and cases, validate UAT results, and perform post‑production validation. Participate in design and mapping of data conversion strategies as needed. Work with product owners and business teams to gather requirements and provide business solutions.
Identify and address technology and analytics dependencies across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure accountability and successful project completion.
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Six (6) months of experience in Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles.
- Six (6) months of experience responsible for leadership and facilitation of teams during pre‑planning and the PI planning event.
- Six (6) months of experience using an Agile toolset.
- Six (6) months of experience with JIRA and Confluence.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
