Workload Automation

Evaluate new tools, techniques, and strategies around new technologies

Identify and implement workload optimization in AWS, Azure, and GCP

Transition newly acquired entities to client-supported technology in the cloud

Remediate security vulnerabilities and risks in newly acquired entities using automation where possible

Create infrastructure as code to support the transition of newly acquired entities to the cloud

Participate in incident response for supported acquired entities

Train and educate newly acquired entities to become self-sufficient in public cloud

Participate in workload placement strategy sessions with other Optum Teams

Require 2+ years of experience with Terraform

Require 2+ years of experience with Dev Ops

Solution Architect, Dev Ops, or System Engineer certification in one or more public cloud providers

Terraform certification
