Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts;
Support a professional healthcare environment by offering directions, assisting with non-clinical requests, and communicating with staff and first responders during security-related situations
