PositionSummary
Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI:
Sr. Digital Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. The role includes analyzing user needs and developing software solutions, determining feasibility of solutions design, preparing technical design documentation, upgrading existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; writing and reviewing high‑quality code and performing unit and/or automation testing;
developing and deploying application components and supporting unit testing and bug fixes; participating in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; supporting applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborating with cross‑functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentoring junior team members. Telecommuting is available and multiple positions are open.

- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Five (5) years of experience with each of the following: XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;
Databases:
Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; requirement gathering and analysis; defining service interfaces and information models in Rational Software Architect; developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; and software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
