Position Summary
Manager, Application Dev – responsible for designing and developing enterprise software applications and platforms for Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company. The role includes development of software solutions that meet business requirements, managing project execution, and ensuring adherence to schedule and scope. Telecommuting is available for this position.
Responsibilities- Develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope.
- Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation.
- Plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Write and review high‑quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor progress milestones and deliverables.
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
- C# language.
- .NET Framework and .NET application development.
- PL/SQL.
- REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs.
- Splunk and Dynatrace.
- SQL database server.
- Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Analyzing business requirements for enhancements and code changes.
- Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions.
- Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases.
- Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy.
$ per year to $ per year. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
