Manages the overall experience of Night Club, Pool, and Summer Concert Series by coordinating behind‑the‑scenes and front‑of‑house operations. Oversees beverage operations for outdoor venue activations, including summer concert series, festivals, and other activations.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS- Ensures service at Night Club, Pool, and SCS is distinguishable from competitors.
- Monitors daily operations and employee performance in the Night Club, including bartenders, servers, bussers, bar attendants, dancers, and more.
- Acts as key liaison with DJs, stage and lighting technicians, and other suppliers.
- Manages third‑party relationships with VIP and street team promoters, nightclub security, dancers, entertainment consultants, emcees, and radio promotions.
- Oversees front‑door and VIP operations.
- Collaborates with marketing, advertising, and public‑relations on related items.
- Ensures timely opening of the venue and punctuality of employee arrivals and departures.
- Promotes exceptional customer satisfaction through direct guest interactions and adherence to the Spotlight 5 behaviors.
- Directs and approves scheduling systems for personnel.
- Manages the handoff of the South Shore Room and pre‑sale of nightclub tickets.
- Manages outlet profitability, including nightly/weekly financial performance, operating income, and inventory levels.
- Promotes the Night Club in the local community and establishes alliances with key stakeholders.
- Supervises human‑resources development, hiring, promotion, disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee morale.
- Coordinates organization, set‑up, and teardown of showroom, SCS arena, and pool.
- Administers company policies and procedures.
- Establishes relationships with vendors to promote beverage specials and increase sales.
- Resolves problems to achieve satisfaction for customers, employees, and management.
- Recruits, plans, and trains staff for all outdoor venue activations.
- Collaborates with national beverage partners to ensure offerings align with approved portfolios and that ordering, storing, and distribution are orderly.
- Acts as liaison with other concert venue department leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Basic food & beverage operations knowledge, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Previous nightclub, bar, and restaurant experience required
- Fluent and literate in English
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with all personnel levels
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Mobility to move quickly around the property
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Dexterity to use office equipment
- Ability to climb stairs
- Visual and auditory range must include the immediate environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a crowded/noisy environment
- Tolerance of second‑hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
