JOB OVERVIEW:
The Field Technician is a core position responsible for providing various field services including Property Inspections, Hot Tub Maintenance, Trash Services, General Maintenance, and On-Call Guest Services. The role requires attention to detail, route management, adherence to procedures, clear communication, and professionalism in interactions with guests, co-workers, contractors, and property owners.
Field Services:
- Use VRA's scheduling software to plan routes and complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain proper chemical levels for hot tubs and ensure guest safety.
- Complete inspections: staging/secure properties, assessing damage, inventorying, and providing necessary maintenance.
- Use a company vehicle to haul trash and clear garage and traffic areas.
- Create detailed reports to improve property operations.
- Ensure property grounds are safe, clear, and guest-ready by completing checklists.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Interact and problem-solve with property owners and guests.
Safety:
- Follow safety procedures and precautions when performing tasks and using equipment or supplies.
- Participate in training related to exposure to blood, body fluids, or hazardous chemicals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Labor or handyman experience is a plus, especially related to vacation rentals.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic proficiency with computer and phone applications.
- Ability to communicate clearly through reports and face-to-face interactions.
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods and move throughout homes.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift up to 50 pounds, and carry such weight for at least 10 feet.
