Job Title
Early Years Practitioner at St Athanasius' Primary School (Temporary up to one year).
Location and HoursSt Athanasius' Primary School – 37 hours per week, term time. Work pattern:
Monday - Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
£17.72 – £18.21 per hour.

Responsibilities- Support, nurture children and create stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high-quality child‑centred early years provision.
- Work as an effective member of an early years team, collaborating with colleagues to plan and coordinate programmes of learning.
- Ensure care and welfare of young people in a childcare environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- At least one of the following qualifications: NNEB, HNC, SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning & Development; SVQ 3 Early Years Care & Education; BA Early Learning and Childcare (Graduate Apprentice).
- Registration as a Practitioner with SSSC.
- Experience of working in an early years environment.
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, carers, team members and outside agencies.
- Temporary post up to one year.
- Interest in ongoing professional development.
