The Assembler role is located at our New Hudson, MI location, reporting to the Production Manager. The Assembler will produce parts to meet company specifications for customer orders and/or production requirements.

• Produce quality products following company policies and procedures.
• Bag and/or pack proper quantities for customer orders or stock as instructed; build a variety of sub‑assemblies per production requirements.
• Work on assembly lines where tasks vary as different models of the same article move along.
• Test parts and assemblies using either air or water.
• Bolt, screw, clip or otherwise fasten parts together.
• Verify and record conformance of products to specifications for operations performed.
• Conduct verification methods including but not limited to using standard equipment such as torque guns to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Set up various machines within the Assembly Department.
• Retrieve materials to complete assigned tasks and/or remove unnecessary materials from the work area as necessary.
• Complete production reports as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Follows established procedures for completing work tasks.

• 1 year assembly experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot simple machine problems.
