Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30amWe are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Diesel Technician to support our maintenance operations through advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of diesel-powered trucks and equipment. This position requires a technician with strong electrical and emissions systems knowledge who can accurately diagnose complex mechanical failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and technical resources to identify root cause failures and complete accurate repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment concerns before failure occurs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issues
- Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systems
- Accurately document diagnostics, completed repairs, labor, and parts usage
- Support shop operations by assisting and mentoring junior technicians as needed
- Service and repair aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR components
- Abilityto read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation
- Minimum5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel technician
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting systems, and scantools
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Experiencediagnosing and repairing aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, andSCR
- Strongdiagnostic and electrical troubleshooting background
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT,PACCAR, or equivalent
- Experience performing repairs on engines, drive trains, brakes, steering, suspension,and related heavy-duty systems
