We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Diesel Technician to support our maintenance operations through advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of diesel-powered trucks and equipment. This position requires a technician with strong electrical and emissions systems knowledge who can accurately diagnose complex mechanical failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include utilizing OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and technical resources to identify root cause failures and complete accurate repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment concerns before failure occurs. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issues. Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards. Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systems.
Accurately document diagnostics, completed repairs, labor, and parts usage. Support shop operations by assisting and mentoring junior technicians as needed. Service and repair aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR components.
