Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sunday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Location: South Miami, FL

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying visitors, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and addressing unusual or suspicious activity according to post instructions.
• Support a professional presence at the location by communicating clearly with residents and/or visitors, following assigned post orders, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Eligible for applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• License requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
