Operations Project Leader – Eaton’s ES AMER ESS Division

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Operations Project Leader located in South Milwaukee, WI.

Expected annual salary range: $97,000 – $143,000 per year. This range is a general guideline; salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including operations project plans, capital budgets, PFMEA’s, control plans, process flow charts, management of change and lead PROLaunch activities associated with operations.
• Participate in new product development design reviews and provide input to improve overall design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential operational project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruption to project timelines and objectives.
• Create and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts and techniques for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and increased product quality, applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Coordinate the design and installation of new manufacturing and test equipment, including supplier selection, runoff, training, documentation of associated manufacturing process and work instructions.
• Spearhead the development and integration of new manufacturing technologies or equipment, conducting feasibility studies and overseeing the installation and initial operation phases to ensure they meet project specifications and enhance production capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered;

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with 2D or 3D modeling used for layouts, design of fixtures, tools, workstations, 3D printing and manipulating product design and DFMA analyses.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification.
• PMP Certification or Project Management training.

• Demonstrated expertise leading operations and manufacturing new line installations.
• Knowledge of power systems, switch gear and regulator products/applications is an added advantage.
