The School District of South Milwaukee is currently hiring cleaners. The Operations Department is looking for candidates interested in part‑time hours, working in our schools to provide a clean learning environment for students.
Job Responsibilities- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floor surfaces and stairways.
- Clean and sanitize all facets of classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways.
- Wash, dust, clean whiteboards, windows, locker exteriors, and drinking fountains.
- Empty waste baskets and pencil sharpeners.
- Replenish soap, hand sanitizer, and paper supplies.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be able to lift and/or move 30 pounds, such as cleaning supplies and garbage cans.
Current shifts are 3.5 hours Monday‑Friday, 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm (flexible during the summer).
Starting rate is $14.75 per hour.
