The Center for Sleep Medicine is a forward-thinking, AASM-accredited, and 100% employee-owned practice specializing in comprehensive sleep care. We are currently seeking a full-time Junior Accounting Coordinator to join our fast-paced medical practice in Naperville, IL (FULLY ON-SITE).
The Junior Accounting Coordinator supports daily financial operations, including AP/AR processing, medical billing coordination, account reconciliations, and reporting. This role works closely with our accountants and billing team to ensure accurate, efficient financial workflows. The Junior Accounting Coordinator reports directly to the Finance Manager.
This is a full-time position.
Schedule:Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Help prepare, process, and manage vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner while maintaining accurate records.
- Support bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Record and monitor outstanding payables while maintaining accurate financial transactions in accounting systems.
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audits or internal controls.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Maintain financial records in compliance with practice policies and healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors, payers, and service providers as needed.
- Always remain HIPAA compliant
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and administrative teams.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Bachelor’s strongly preferred).
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; medical or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of sleep medicine billing or DME processes is a plus.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel to other facilities as needed.
- Electronic filing of confidential HR and accounting documents
- Ordering monthly supplies for main office as needed

This pay range reflects the Company's current estimate for this position at the time of posting.
