JR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

A mid-size privately held and institutionally focused real estate investment and multifamily property management firm is seeking an accounting professional to manage all facets of financial reporting for a portfolio of assigned properties. This position is ideal for an ambitious, experienced professional who seeks to join an established firm. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve accounting processes, procedures, and financial reporting.

• Serve as the Property Accountant for multiple small properties.
• Responsible for AP, AR, Month End Financial preparation for those properties
• Assist in accounting functions for property accountant vacancies
• Create, Revise Accounting Training & Systems
• Lease/Accounting Audits
• Assist Management Accountants as necessary

• Highly organized
• Deadline oriented
• Ability to Multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient with property management software. Preferably Yardi
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience
• Work location is in Naperville, IL
