The role of the Accounts Payable Specialist involves working with a dynamic, growing organization that is fast paced and friendly. This person must have excellent communication skills along with the ability to work with both upper management and store level management to achieve a high degree of accuracy. The ideal candidate will also be able to jump in when needed for special projects.
This individual must be able to work well with others in a strong team environment.
As a vital team member of the Wenzak team, The Accounts Payable position includes:
- Keeping track of all payments
- Maintaining historical records
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Attention to detail and data entry skills
- Interact in a professional manner at all times with both office and field
- Previous experience in Quick Books is a plus, but willing to train
