Senior Cost Accountant

Madison Street Search has partnered with a large, privately held global manufacturing company to identify a Senior Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role will play an important part in supporting cost accounting, inventory, month-end close, and financial analysis within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment. The position will focus heavily on standard cost accounting, analyzing production costs, and monitoring material, labor, and overhead variances while partnering closely with operations and finance team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with standard cost accounting and manufacturing cost analysis
• Experience analyzing material, labor, and overhead variances
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and month-end close
• Experience partnering with operations and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment
