Naperville, IL
* Full Time: 40 hours per week

* Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p with rotating weekends
* Required Travel: to Elmhurst Hospital as needed
** A Brief Overview:
** The Department Support Assistant III will provide advanced administrative and operational support to the department and play a critical role in ensuring its efficient and successful operation. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in administrative support, project management, and leadership.

* What you will do:

*** Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, including managing correspondence, phone calls, and departmental records.
* Coordinate and oversee departmental meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and material preparation.
* Maintain and update data in spreadsheets, databases, and electronic systems with precision.
* Generate and compile complex reports, presentations, and documents for the department, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
* Act as the primary point of contact for departmental inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
* Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering, maintaining adequate stock levels, and tracking budgets and expenses.
* Organize and maintain departmental records, files, and documents, implementing efficient and accessible filing systems.
* Take responsibility for scheduling complex appointments, meetings, and conference calls for department members and department heads.
* Lead and support department-specific projects and initiatives, conducting research, data analysis, and providing presentations to department leadership.
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of administrative strategies and policies, under the guidance of the department head.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to lower-level administrative staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
* Assist in the training and onboarding of new administrative team members.

* What you will need:

*** Bachelors Degree Required
* Masters Degree Preferred
* 7+ Years administrative experience, with demonstrated expertise in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.
