Mail Room Student Worker

Responsibilities

• Collect the mail/deliver mail campus wide, including utilizing campus vehicles for transportation.
• Process the outgoing mail
• Log all the packages for students, faculty, and staff
• Hand out all the student packages
• Helping the students with the outgoing packages to be shipped
• E-mail students in regards to their packages
• E-mail students for their perishable packages (flowers, cookies, medications anything time sensitive)
• Responsible for closing the mail room at 4:30 pm.
• Responsible to work on Saturday on their own from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Sort the students mail
• Put away the students mail
• Customer service at the counter for any mail room questions
• Learn the many aspects of printing, laminating, etc. in our print shop.

Do the job duties for this position include any driving requirements? Yes

• Must be enrolled as a student at North Central College.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
