Educating Character Initiative Grant Assistant
The Center for Leadership, Ethics, and Service is hiring an undergraduate student to assist with projects related to the Educating Character Initiative. This position supports general program coordination and communications, with a focus on keeping things organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities- Help coordinate events and track RSVPs and guest lists
- Draft and edit written content for website updates (no coding required)
- Source and organize approved images (e.g., from the Mercer Gallery) for use in materials
- Create flyers or other marketing materials using standard tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint)
- Organize program materials and information
- Provide clerical support such as copying, filing, data entry, and scheduling
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time independently
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Wordpress preferred but not required
- Comfortable learning new tools or processes as needed
- Interest in leadership, ethics, or service-related topics is helpful but not required
