Construction Project Manager
- Commercial Construction
- Base Salary to 110k/year
- Winnebago, IL
Our client is an established commercial construction contractor specializing in complex concrete construction projects throughout the Midwest. They are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion while managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, customer relationships, and overall project execution. This position requires approximately 20% travel throughout the Midwest, including occasional overnight travel to project sites.
Responsibilities:- Manage commercial construction projects from project kickoff through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel throughout all phases of construction.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, costs, quality, and overall project performance.
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, identify field issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate project status with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate project activities to support on‑time and on‑budget project completion.
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and established timelines.
- Experience managing ground‑up commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing construction schedules, subcontractors, project budgets, and field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% throughout the Midwest, including occasional overnight stays.
Base salary in the 80k–110k/year range. Medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off and paid holidays.
