A well-established heavy civil construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager to support road, bridge, utilities, and site work projects in the Greater Chicago area. This is a hands‐on project leadership role with a mix of office and jobsite responsibilities.

The ideal background includes heavy civil construction experience, strong project documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with owners, subcontractors, superintendents, project engineers, and field teams.

Heavy Civil Project Manager – Naperville, IL Area – $120K–$170K + Benefits What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage day-to-day project execution for heavy civil construction projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and project documents
  • Build and update CPM schedules, two-week lookaheads, and schedule narratives
  • Track project costs, labor productivity, quantities, and payment requisitions
  • Review subcontractor and material invoices
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field engineers, project engineers, and subcontractors
  • Support construction plans, safety procedures, and project reporting
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience
  • Road, bridge, utilities, site work, or infrastructure project experience
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe skills
  • Primavera P6, AutoCAD, or Micro Station experience is a plus
