Construction Laborer in Naperville

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an assistant superintendent for a Residential Home Builder. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of residential construction projects. • Construction Oversight:
  Assist the Superintendent in the construction process, including material handling, ordering and returning construction materials.
• Subcontractor Management:
  Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Problem Solving:
  Identify and address construction-related challenges, proposing solutions to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Customer Service:
  Ability to communicate with homeowners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and permits.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all workers on-site.

  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in residential construction, including knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
• Communication skills:
  To effectively coordinate and assist in supervising subcontractors and on-site personnel.

  Ability to follow directions, follow a list, and complete tasks on time and self-sufficiently.
• Attention to Detail:
  Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

  Ability to handle and move lumber, use hand tools, and be willing to do labor tasks such as sweeping basements, hosing floors, and cleaning up jobsites as requested.

  Comfortable with technology; will be expected to learn Builder Trend software and use daily.
