Estimator, Construction, Civil Engineering

Location: Naperville, IL

Salary: $80,000–$180,000, depending on experience

Our client, a well-established construction company in the Naperville/Aurora area is looking for an experienced Estimator to join its team. This position will play an important role in developing project pricing and helping the company pursue new business.

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project information to determine the overall scope of work
• Calculate material quantities and labor requirements for upcoming projects
• Develop detailed project cost estimates and determine appropriate pricing
• Prepare bids and proposals for customers and general contractors
• Communicate with contractors, developers, engineers, vendors, and other project partners

• Previous experience as a Construction Estimator is strongly preferred
• Background in concrete, asphalt, paving, site work, civil construction, or a related field is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction plans and project costs
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus, but relevant industry experience will be considered in place of a degree.
