** About Our Pediatric Critical Care Program**### Unit Specifications### Advanced Capabilities & Services
* Advanced mechanical ventilation strategies
* Comprehensive procedural services (intubation, central lines, chest tubes, etc.)
* Pediatric sedation services
* Critical care consultation to pediatric emergency department
* Close collaboration with on-site pediatric subspecialists

Note:

We do not currently offer ECMO or CRRT services.### Comprehensive Pediatric Subspecialty Support Edward Hospital offers exceptional on-site pediatric subspecialty coverage, including:
* Pediatric Surgery
* Pediatric Gastroenterology
* Pediatric Infectious Disease
* Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
* Neonatology (in-house 24/7)
* Pediatric Hospitalists (24/7 intensive care experienced coverage)
* Additional pediatric subspecialists available### Integrated Pediatric Services
* Designing the optimal coverage model for our unit
* Recruiting and building a cohesive pediatric intensivist physician team
* Establishing clinical protocols and best practices

* Qualifications:

** Minimum Education Level

* Required:

Completion of ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency

* Required:

Completion of ACGME-accredited Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Minimum Licensure Requirements
* Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.

Minimum Certification Requirements

* Required:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

* Required:

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

* Required:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
* Board certification/Board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.

Minimum Work Experience
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of expertise in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.##

On-site## Position Summary Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced, board-certified Pediatric Intensivist to serve as Medical Director, Pediatric Critical Care at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to build and shape a growing program as we transition to an Endeavor-employed physician group model.

The Medical Director will provide strategic vision, clinical leadership, and day-to-day oversight of our 16-bed Pediatric unit while maintaining an active clinical practice.

This role offers protected administrative time and the unique opportunity to design the coverage model and help establish best practices for our expanding program.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned intensivist ready to commit to building excellence in pediatric critical care within a supportive, community-focused environment with robust subspecialty support and modern resources.
