The Associate Dean advises the Dean and makes strategic recommendations on a full range of personnel management, budget, policy, and planning issues related to the management of the College. This role oversees budget and financial operations for the College in collaboration with the Dean. This Associate Dean collaborates with other members of the College staff on issues such as instructional capacity, development, technology support, and facilities/space coordination as these areas relate to budget and planning.
While the position has a number of areas of assigned responsibilities, there are also broad areas in which the Associate Dean develops policy recommendations for the Dean and makes decisions within parameters set by the Dean.

It is the academic heart of Illinois State University, serving as the home to the core curriculum that forms the basis for all degree programs. Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
