A middle school is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an 8th grade classroom in Naperville, IL. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive educational setting with a focus on co‑teaching and personalized instruction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized instruction and support for 10 students on the caseload
- Collaborate with general education teachers in a co‑teaching environment
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Active LBS1 License
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
