North Central College invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool in the English department. We seek qualified instructors to teach courses as needed on a semester-by-semester basis. Applications will be reviewed continuously, and candidates will be considered for future openings as they arise.

• Adjunct faculty may be asked to teach a variety of English courses, including composition, literature, creative and professional writing, and other related subjects, depending on departmental needs.
• Responsibilities include course preparation, instruction, grading, and student support.

• Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three professional references in an electronic format to the North Central College postings site.
• Materials will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be contacted if an opportunity matching their qualifications becomes available.
• Candidates must hold an M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. in a related field. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. In the cover letter, please identify which courses are of interest and the expertise you would bring to teaching in this area.
